BPO Union Uncovers Genpact’s Unethical Practices

July 18, 2009

We’ve intervened again and forced Genpact to act in the right manner. They tried to bully their employee, and tried to do the same to us, but they mis-judged what they were up against.

With the media breathing hot on their necks they are wriggling very unconfortably, trying to get this issue to die down. We promise you, it wont until we get Arvindar his justice.

Here is the copy of some press that this issue got. Most expectedly Genpact denied the whole episode. For once we’d expect them to act responsibly by owning up that they did something wrong but you know them, they wont, just to keep up their petty little money making racket going.

Open letter to Genpact from BPO UNION

July 13, 2009

The open letter (below) is in reference to a group of Genpact employees’ complaint. We intend to make a forceful case of it and pursue it to logical end without any delay. Your support is sought.

Dear Friends at Genpact,

We have reason to believe that there are practices at your organization which are less than respectable (or acceptable). We have taken our time to research and talk to a lot of your employees and have enough reason to believe that things are not as they should be.

Please go through the email below (and thats only one case, there are many more). We would like you to please look at the said employee kindly failing which we will be forced to take collective action with many other employees at Genpact who are willing to take the fight legally and openly in the media.

We hope that good sense shall prevail and unnecessary confrontation shall be avoided. Once we see your action on this case we shall bring up many more cases. As is our usual practice a copy of this email is being sent to friends in the media, the administration and other unions.

regards,
Chief
