In less than 18 hours of launch we have received more than 30 e-mails and on last count 22 hits. Many people wanted to know about the Categories under which one may blog here so here we are with Categories and their scope.

(pssstt) Among these mails we also have 4 journalists from leading media (news) outfits wanting to know more. Our newly formed community already seems to be getting some attention.

Health Do you face health issues working in a BPO? Ask other how they deal with the same issues. Tell others how you deal with the same issues.

Legal Issues Ahan! So you have no idea about your legal rights in a BPO environment. Ahan! So you have no idea about your legal duties in a BPO environment. Do you know what your employers’ Legal rights against you are? Do you know what your Legal rights against your employer are? Any of the above ring a bell … Ask or Tell.

Workforce Security How far is your employer bound to secure you? Physical security is important – Emotionally secured by your employer? Do you have a ‘real and workable’ sexual harassment policy and committee? Where you can and will be addressed if ever (God forbid) you are harmed? Your employer ever heard of Gender Sensitization? Have you ever gone through a formal seminar to address all of the above?

    My Name is Sahil Singla. I was working with IBM from last 2 years. Recently i got job in Genpact at Delhi. My interview was conducted in July month. They given me the offer letter on 02-08-2011 with joining date22-08-2011. According to that i given a resigned in IBM on 03-08-2011 with a notice period of 15 days. My last day in the organisation on 17-08-2011. Which was done successfully . Now what happens Genpact has some conduction of PHO(Pre Hiring Orientation) Programme on 04-08-2011. I reached there conduct that PHO. The manager checked my stability and expriance and salary expectation . i was agree on every thing. He told me you should be informed by our team. But till 25-08-2011. i did not informed by any one about it was succeed of rejected. when i talked with hr people they says if is there any problem you should get the call on time. When i was resigned from IBM on 17-08-2011 they did not informed me any thing about it . on the date of joining when i reached there hr told your name is not in the joining list your bcg background verification is not process with their end . you should wait for their call but till 3 days i did not get any call when after 3 days i call them they says your pho is reject due to salary issue. now you tell me plz if i have any salary issue why should i leave my last job. They says you have to come again for interview . plz tell me what is my mistake if the had not informed me any thing about rejection on time what should i do. Because of genpact i leave my last job and they also denied to give me job. Now i am a jobless person which is not my fault .Due genpact hr fault i am surfing from last 10 days with out any job. plz help me regarding this . its not my fault if they informed me on time abt rejection so i could not leave my last job. Because according to process if there have any issue regarding joining they should informed to candidate. but they not informed me. Now i don’t know where should i raise complaint against them or whom should we contact plz help me on this i am waiting for your reply kindly help me as soon as possible.
